Prime Minister Masrour Barzani welcomes Belgian Ambassador

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani welcomed Serge Dickschen, the Ambassador of Belgium to Iraq and Jordan.

Ambassador Dickschen congratulated the successful Kurdistan Region parliamentary elections and emphasized the importance of forming the new government in the near future. They agreed that the first session of the Kurdistan Parliament marked a positive step forward.

They also discussed ensuring the Kurdistan Region’s constitutional rights and financial entitlements, resuming oil exports, and developments in Iraq, the region, and the ongoing situation in Syria.
