Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Saeed Khatibzadeh, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

They discussed developments in Iraq and the region, and ways to further strengthen relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both sides emphasized the importance of developing bilateral ties based on mutual interests and respect.

They also covered the ongoing talks between Iran and the United States, and the importance of preserving regional stability and security.
