Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives Patriarch of the Eastern Church

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Patriarch Mar Gewargis III Younan of the Eastern Church.

Patriarch Younan praised the peaceful coexistence in the Kurdistan Region and expressed his delight at participating in Kurdistan National Prayer Breakfast, which honors and celebrates the Kurdistan Region’s example of interfaith and intercultural harmony.

Prime Minister Barzani reaffirmed the KRG’s commitment to promoting a culture of coexistence and further strengthening harmony among the diverse communities of the Kurdistan Region.
