Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives New Head of Japan’s Consular Office in Erbil

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Hitoshi Ishizuka, the new Head of the Consular Office of Japan in Erbil.

The Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Ishizuka on his new role and reaffirmed the KRG’s full support for his mission. He also expressed his appreciation to the government of Japan, particularly the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), for implementing several important projects in the Kurdistan Region.

Mr. Ishizuka reiterated Japan’s commitment to expanding bilateral relations with the Kurdistan Region across a range of sectors.
