Statement by PM Masrour Barzani on Easter

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today issued the following statement on the arrival of Easter:

“With the arrival of Easter, I extend my warmest wishes to the Christian community in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the world. I hope that this holiday brings peace and prosperity to all communities in the Region and Iraq.

“On this occasion, I reiterate the Kurdistan Regional Government’s commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence, forgiveness, and religious freedom in the Kurdistan Region.

“Happy Easter and may it bring you peace and joy.”
