PM Masrour Barzani meets with UNAMI chief

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today received the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative to Iraq, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert.

Both discussed the recent developments in Iraq as well as the need to settle the unresolved issues between Erbil and Baghdad based on the constitution and the agenda of the new Iraqi government.

The meeting also highlighted the recent attacks on the Kurdistan Region, emphasizing the need for an end to the violation of Iraq and the Region’s sovereignty and stability.
