Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received His Holiness Mar Awa III, Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East worldwide.

They discussed conditions of Christian communities in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the wider region.

They stressed the importance of further promoting the culture of peaceful coexistence and harmony among the diverse components of the Kurdistan Region.
