KRG Prime Minister Meets with Sant’Egidio Community Delegation

On Sunday, September 17, 2023, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani of the Kurdistan Regional Government welcomed Leonardo Emberti Gialloreti, the Head of Middle East and Asia Department from the Rome-based humanitarian group, Community of Sant’Egidio.

During their discussion, Mr. Gialloreti outlined the community’s objectives and initiatives. He lauded the Kurdistan Region for its culture of peaceful coexistence, religious freedom, and its compassionate hosting of countless refugees and asylum seekers.

Prime Minister Barzani expressed his gratitude for the community’s contributions and wished them continued success in their endeavours.
