KRG Prime Minister and UAE President Strengthen Ties in Abu Dhabi Meeting

On 12 February 2024, Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, met in Abu Dhabi with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.

Prime Minister Barzani extended his condolences to President Al Nahyan on the tragic loss of three UAE soldiers in Somalia.

The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the partnership between the Kurdistan Region and the UAE, focusing on expanding bilateral cooperation for mutual benefit.
