Statement by PM Masrour Barzani on Erbil’s rocket attack

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today issued the following statement on Erbil’s rocket attack last night:

“I strongly condemn the rocket attack on Erbil’s Khabat area last night.

“I ask the Iraqi Prime Minister to take the necessary action to hold all those outlaw groups responsible, including forming a joint committee to take the necessary measures in order to control areas which pose a threat to the stability of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

“These attacks cannot continue and a serious stance and action must be taken against such attacks.”
