PM Masrour Barzani meets Head of Fatah Alliance

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Sunday met with Hadi al-Amiri, the leader of Iraq’s Fatah Alliance.

In the meeting, both sides discussed the latest developments in Iraq and relations between Erbil and Baghdad.

Prime Minister Barzani expressed the Kurdistan Regional Government’s support for dialogue on the basis of mutual acceptance and strengthening trust between all components of Iraq.

The head of the Fatah Alliance addressed the importance of the Kurdistan Region and its leadership within Iraq’s political framework, and called on all parties in the country to pursue dialogue in order to get the country out of its present predicament.

The Prime Minister noted that all Iraqis have shared interests which should serve as a basis for cooperation.

Prime Minister Barzani also stressed that the implementation of the Constitution is in the best interests of all Iraqis and will put the country on the right path.
