PM Masrour Barzani meets with President of Hungary
Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today received the Hungarian President, Katalin Novak.
Prime Minister Barzani expressed his appreciation for Hungary’s continued support of the Peshmerga forces within the framework of the international coalition, and renewed the Kurdistan Region’s desire to consolidate relations with the country.
Both leaders discussed ways to strengthen relations between the Kurdistan Region and Hungary. They also discussed the ongoing reforms of the government and the existing peaceful coexistence in the Kurdistan Region.
President Novak lauded the Peshmerga forces for their efforts in confronting the Islamic State (ISIS). She expressed her country’s readiness to establish comprehensive relations with the Kurdistan Region.
